Laura and her team are true professionals. I love my braids. Thank you ladies!
I had a very painful and disappointing experience at Laura's Fashion Hair Braiding.
When I first walked in, everyone seemed welcoming, which gave me a good first impression. Unfortunately, that quickly changed once my service began.
I had my braids taken down, followed by a wash and blow-dry. The two women who removed my braids were extremely rough. One of them pulled my hair so hard that I was literally curled up in pain. I tried to endure it, but it was far more painful than it should have been.
The shampoo was fine, but the blow-dry was even worse. They continued pulling my hair with excessive force, and I reached a point where I couldn't tolerate the pain anymore. I asked them to stop because I was so uncomfortable.
What upset me the most was that two of the women actually asked if they were hurting me, and even after I made it clear that they were, they continued pulling my hair with the same amount of force. I felt like my discomfort was completely ignored.
I understand that detangling and blow-drying can sometimes be uncomfortable, but there is no reason for a client to be in that much pain. I left feeling sore, frustrated, and disappointed. Based on my experience, I would not return or recommend this salon.
HUGE disappointment ! Did not get what i asked for… extremely rough on my hair . My braids look like they were done 2 weeks ago & i just had them done a few hours ago ! . & had the audacity to charge me full price . Extremely upset will never go here again.

Pricing and to the disappointment there was uneven parting, loose hairs around my scalp and braids. wasn’t even close to what I was asking for. I expected my stylist to be No communication no in between breaks to see progress. If so overconfident ( cocky) and didn’t feel comfortable doing my specific request then communicate better. Overall not the greatest experience and wasted money.
This place is truly the definition of you get what you pay for. The last few times I went that women who did my hair were rough as shit with me , the last time I went which was very recent the lady didn't even do the design I wanted, AND made it look a bit crooked. Plus not to mention most of em seem like they don't know what they're doing. So all in all do NOT come to this place you're better off going somewhere else.
